Find parts for your car

Every part name says which models it was made for. The shop asks for year and trim before it confirms — do that check there.

Before you fit it

What an inspector looks at, and where the rules change when you cross a border. Same part, four different answers.

Approval travels with the part, not with the car

Approval travels with the part, not with the car

A part can be legal in itself and illegal on your car. What counts is that it is approved for your model and that the paperwork stays in the car.

EU · the part carries an e-mark and a type number. Germany · ABE or Teilegutachten, then a TÜV entry in the papers. UK · no pre-approval, but the MOT tester judges the result. US · it is the state inspection, and in California CARB, that decides.

How low you can go, country by country

How low you can go, country by country

Lowering changes a figure written in the registration document.

Germany · clearance and wheel cover are measured, and the new height goes in the papers. Italy · a change of height is a change of construction characteristics. UK · no fixed minimum, but headlamp aim and clearance to the arches are checked. US · many states set a maximum bumper height, and a few set a minimum.

Every exhaust has a declared decibel figure and a marking. An unmarked tailpipe is the easiest thing to be stopped for, anywhere.

EU · the limit sits with the vehicle’s own approval figure. US · the limit is set by the state, and can differ between two counties.

More boost changes more than power

More boost changes more than power

A bigger turbo moves the load onto parts that were sized for the old one: rods, clutch, cooling, injectors. The turbo is the cheap part of that list.

It also changes the emissions figure, which is what an inspection actually measures — in the EU, in the UK and in every US state.

Anything that changes the outline is on the papers

Width, height, overhang and lighting are recorded on the vehicle document. A part that changes one of them has to be recorded too, or the document stops matching the car.

Seats, belts and cages are safety parts

Seats, belts and cages are safety parts

They are approved as a system: a seat that is fine on a track car can fail an inspection on a road car because the belt no longer runs where it was approved to run.

Find an accredited tuner

A part fitted badly is worth less than a part not bought. This is where the workshop near you that works on this kind of build will appear.

Questions

Will this fit my car?

Each part name lists the models it was made for. The shop asks for year and trim before it confirms the order — always do that final check there, not here.

Will my car still pass inspection if I lower it?

It depends on the clearance left and on what the registration document says. An adjustable kit approved for your model can be set back up; a fixed kit cannot. That is the reason most people choose adjustable.

Is a bigger turbo enough for more power?

No. Air has to get in and out, fuel has to keep up, and the clutch has to hold what you have made. A turbo fitted alone usually gives less than the smaller one it replaced.

Do I need a cartridge or a whole turbo?

A cartridge replaces the spinning core and keeps your housings, which is cheaper and keeps the fitment identical. A whole unit is the answer when the housing itself is cracked or when you are changing size.

What does the price shown include?

It is the price the shop is asking for that part, read from its catalogue on the date shown. Shipping, and any duty or tax on import, are added by the shop at checkout.

Prices read from the shop’s catalogue of 24 agosto 2026. Shipping, duty and tax are added by the shop at checkout.
